About me

I’m Deb,

I am a licensed Life Coach, I worked beside a Psychotherapist for 20 years and I’m a practicing Registered Nurse. My life has been a journey through valleys most people never talk about — childhood trauma, family chaos, silence, shame, and years of trying to make sense of pain that never should have been mine to carry.
But somewhere along the way, I stopped surviving… and started awakening.
Today, I am a woman who speaks the truth I once swallowed. A woman who turned her scars into wisdom. A woman who realized that healing isn’t pretty — it’s powerful.
I created The Inward Bound Show to give every wounded child living inside an adult body a place to finally exhale. My voice is for the ones who grew up too fast, the ones who never felt safe, the ones who are still trying to understand why their past echoes into their present.
I don’t come to you as an expert looking down — I come as someone who has lived it. Someone who knows what it’s like to feel unseen. Someone who chose to heal anyway.
This space is where we tell the truth. Where we break generational cycles. Where we rise, even if we rise trembling.
My mission is simple: To help you remember your worth. To help you see what trauma tried to hide. To help you reclaim the pieces of yourself you thought were lost forever.
If you’re here, maybe you’re ready for that, too. And I’m honored to walk this path with you — one story,
one layer, one brave breath at a time.

My Approach

My approach is rooted in truth, responsibility, and emotional strength. I do not believe in surface-level motivation or temporary breakthroughs. I believe in lasting transformation built on self-awareness and disciplined reflection. Many of the struggles’ adults face — insecurity, emotional reactivity, fear of visibility, relationship conflict, people-pleasing, or overcompensating — were shaped long before adulthood. Instead of avoiding those origins, I guide individuals to examine them clearly and courageously. My work is built on four core pillars:

1. Radical Honesty We tell the truth about what shaped us. Without exaggeration. Without minimizing. Truth is the foundation of change.

2. Accountability Without Shame Taking responsibility for healing does not mean blaming yourself for what happened. It means choosing not to let it control your future.

3. Emotional Awareness as Strength Understanding your emotional patterns is not weakness — it is power. Self-awareness creates control, stability, and clarity in leadership and relationships.

4. Practical Transformation Insight must translate into action. Every conversation and reflection is designed to produce measurable growth in mindset, behavior, and decision-making. I approach growth with structure and compassion. I believe in confronting limiting beliefs, strengthening internal boundaries, and rebuilding identity from the inside out. This is not about revisiting pain for the sake of emotion. It is about extracting wisdom, rebuilding confidence, and leading life intentionally. When you go inward with courage, you move forward with authority. That is my approach.

Our Mission

The mission of The Inward Bound Show is to guide individuals toward deep emotional awareness, personal responsibility, and lasting transformation. We exist to help people identify the early experiences that shaped their identity, challenge limiting beliefs, and rebuild their internal foundation with strength and clarity. Through honest storytelling, structured reflection, and practical application, we empower individuals to move beyond survival patterns and into intentional, confident living.

Our Vision

Our vision is to normalize deeper conversations about emotional development and personal growth. We envision a culture where healing is recognized as leadership, self-awareness is valued as strength, and individuals are equipped to break generational patterns rather than repeat them. The Inward Bound Show seeks to build a community of emotionally grounded, self-aware individuals who lead their families, workplaces, and communities from a place of internal stability and clarity. When people go inward with courage, they move forward with authority.
